Many athletes and celebrities have become involved in the sports industry seeing their promising future.
This electronic sports industry is experiencing its best moment in terms of notoriety, investment and followers, which implies more games, more public, more tournaments and also more profits.
With the E-Sports industry set to receive $ 2.4 million in 2020, more and more celebrities are starting to get involved in the movement.
This is why, in recent years, several celebrities have decided to invest in this activity, either as shareholders or founders of their own electronic sports clubs.
Some of these celebrities are:
David Beckham invested € 27 million euros to found Guild eSports, a team with which he aspires to reach a market value of € 110 million euros.
Antoine Griezmann founded Grizi Esports in January 2020 with his brother Theo.
Ronaldo Nazario (also known as the Phenomenon), in January 2017 acquired 50% of the CNB E-Sports club, a team founded in 2001.
