The Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage announced the Regional Arts and Culture Awards 2020, which are granted through the SEREMIs of the Ministry and the Identity Strengthening program Regional Cultural
These awards are intended to recognize the work of Chileans and Chileans, who were born or not in the region. Through a continuous work in time, artists, managers and / or farmers have developed significant initiatives in the rescue and strengthening of regional identity, dynamism in participation citizen, and have made contributions to the decentralization of artistic and cultural development in the region.
476/5000 The Regional Arts and Culture Awards correspond to one of the components of the program of Strengthening of the Regional Cultural Identity (IFRC), an initiative whose objective is to contribute to strengthening the identity of the territories and the communities that inhabit it. The IFRC program also seeks to expand access to artistic and cultural goods and services in communes other than regional capitals, generating opportunities for artistic and cultural participation.
Excellence, creativity and transcendent contributions
The Regional Awards of and Culture are the recognition of artists, managers and / or farmers who have a proven track record for its excellence, creativity, and for its transcendent contribution to regional culture and development of these fields and areas of knowledge and the arts.
It is an instance, to recognize also, artists, managers and / or emerging farmers, who contribute to strengthen and highlight the regional circuit in art and culture. The purpose is that the prizes are oriented to recognition of artists who have developed their work from the region, being a contribution to the scene regional. The categories will be defined by the SEREMIs, according to the elements of identity and relevance local.
